The Weekly Homeschool Hub - Term 1
Inspiring learning, one week at a time.
Welcome to Term 1 of The Weekly Homeschool Hub!
I’m so excited to support your family with 10 weeks of themed learning, creative activities and hands-on experiences designed to make homeschooling engaging, enjoyable and a little easier to plan.
Whether your family enjoys following a structured routine or prefers a relaxed, interest-led approach, you can use the Hub in a way that works for you.
Each week, you’ll find a new theme with activities and ideas to explore together. You can choose your favourites, adapt them to suit your children’s ages and abilities, and follow their interests along the way.
There is no expectation to complete everything. The goal is to create opportunities for curiosity, discovery and meaningful learning without adding pressure to your homeschool.
How to Use the Hub
- Explore the weekly theme. Start by looking through the activities and resources available for the week.
- Choose what interests your children. Pick the activities that suit their ages, abilities and interests.
- Learn in your own way. Adapt activities, extend ideas or keep things simple.
- Make connections. Where relevant, connect the theme to literacy, numeracy, science, humanities, creative arts and everyday life.
- Enjoy the process. You don’t need to complete every activity or keep up with a particular schedule.
You can use the Hub alongside your existing homeschool resources or as a standalone source of inspiration.
Your Term 1 Themes
I’ve choose themes that are broad enough to suit different ages, easy to explore at home, and flexible enough for families to use without feeling like they’re following a rigid curriculum.
