Looking for focused learning support without committing to ongoing weekly tutoring?

Our Online Learning Sessions provide short, targeted programs designed to build confidence and strengthen key skills in English and Mathematics.

Sessions are delivered live via Zoom and are designed to be interactive, supportive and engaging, with children given opportunities to participate, practise skills and build confidence in a small-group environment.

Each program runs for 4 weeks, allowing children to build on their learning from one session to the next.

📚 Phonics Foundations

Recommended for Foundation – Year 1

A 4-week program focusing on the foundational phonics skills children need for early reading and spelling.

Children will work on:

• Letter-sound knowledge
• Blending
• Segmenting
• Early decoding
• Reading simple words and sentences
• Applying phonics knowledge to reading and spelling

30-minute sessions
Maximum 6 children
$60 for the 4-week program

📚 Phonics 2

Recommended for Year 1 – Year 2

A 4-week program designed to develop confidence with more complex phonics patterns.

Children will explore:

• Common digraphs
• Split digraphs
• Long and short vowel sounds
• Open and closed syllables
• Reading multisyllabic words
• Applying phonics knowledge to reading and spelling

45-minute sessions
Maximum 8 children
$64 for the 4-week program

➕ Addition & Subtraction Strategies

Recommended for Year 1 – Year 3

A 4-week program designed to develop flexible mathematical strategies and move children beyond relying solely on counting.

Children will explore:

• Place value
• Partitioning numbers
• Number lines
• Counting on
• Making 10
• Doubles and near doubles
• Addition strategies
• Subtraction strategies
• Problem solving

Learning will move from concrete materials → visual representations → abstract mathematics, helping children develop a deeper understanding of number.

45-minute sessions
Maximum 8 children

✖️ Multiplication & Division Strategies

Recommended for Year 2 – Year 4

A 4-week program designed to build understanding and confidence with multiplication and division.

Children will explore:

• Equal groups
• Repeated addition
• Arrays
• Multiplication strategies
• Skip counting
• Using known facts to solve unknown facts
• Sharing and grouping
• Division
• The relationship between multiplication and division
• Problem solving

The focus is on understanding how multiplication and division work, rather than simply memorising times tables.

45-minute sessions

A note about year levels

The year levels listed are recommendations only. Children develop skills at different rates, so the most appropriate program will depend on your child's current knowledge and confidence.

If you're unsure which program is the right fit, please get in touch before booking.

• Small-group programs require a 4-week commitment.
• Places are limited to ensure children receive meaningful interaction and support.
• Sessions are delivered live via Zoom.
• A stable internet connection and access to a computer or tablet are required.
• Families will be advised of any simple materials needed before the session.
• Session dates and times are listed with each available program.

Note: Make up sessions aren’t available if you can’t make all four weeks so please carefully to make sure you are available for all of the sessions.
